Arkansas 87, Mizzou 75

The Missouri Tigers look for a second straight upset win when they travel to face the 20th-ranked Arkansas Razorbacks on Saturday.

The Tigers had to hang on for dear life, but they got it done and notched a critical 81-80 win over Vanderbilt on Wednesday night to improve to 4-4 in Quad 1 games this season.

Now Missouri gets another shot at a Quad 1 victory against the Razorbacks, who are coming off a very tough loss in a 117-115 double overtime defeat at Alabama on Wednesday.

I think the Tigers are playing with some house money on Saturday, as this is the toughest matchup remaining on their schedule with five games remaining and needing just two more victories to clinch a 20-win season and a winning record in the SEC.

I also think we could see some tired legs from Arkansas early after pouring so much into that game in Tuscaloosa on Wednesday.

But over the course of 40 minutes, I think the Razorbacks’ talent is going to be too much for the Tigers.

The Hogs are top 10 in the country in points per game. They are a terrific shooting team, ranking top 25 in the nation in field goal percentage and 3-point field goal percentage. They also take care of the basketball, ranking 2nd in the country in turnover rate. I could also see Mizzou struggling offensively with Arkansas being a top 20 team in blocking shots.

I expect the Tigers to hang around for a good portion of the game, but look for the Razorbacks to pull away late and cover the spread. Arkansas has been very good against the number this season, posting an 18-8 ATS record.

Lean: Arkansas -10.5 at -110 on DraftKings
