The Cardinals never seem to play well in San Francisco, whether it’s the memories of blowing a 3-1 lead in the 2012 NLCS or getting walked off on by Travis Ishikawa in the 2014 NLCS. It just seems traveling to Oracle Park always ends poorly for the Cards.
With that being said, the Cardinals (9-13) have a tough test ahead of them as they play their second of three series in their West Coast swing. They take on the San Francisco Giants (8-13) Monday-Thursday in San Francisco at Oracle Park. Monday-Wednesday’s games will be at 8:45 PM, while Thursday will be a day game at 2:45 PM. The Cardinals will be looking to win their third series of the season and improve on their 7-3 victory over the Mariners on Sunday.
