The St. Louis Blues square off with the top team in the Eastern Conference in the Tampa Bay Lightning tonight at Enterprise Center.
The Blues faced the Lightning last month and fell at Tampa Bay 4-1 on December 22nd.

The Blues are coming off one of their best performances of the season in a 3-0 win over Carolina on Tuesday. It marked their third straight victory at home.
However, it’s hard to trust the Blues to win two games in a row overall. They have done it only four times all season (once per month), and they’ve already hit their quota for January.
Lightning On Fire
Tampa Bay heads into tonight’s action winners of 11 consecutive games. Seven of those victories have come on the road where the Lightning have been outstanding this season with a record of 17-4-3.
Tampa Bay has been electric offensively during the streak with an average of 4.8 goals per game.
My Pick
I rarely take a moneyline price this high, but I think this is a spot to do it on the Lightning. I prefer to ride out winning streaks rather than guess when they are going to stop.
I also wouldn’t recommend getting cute with Tampa Bay -1.5 or Tampa Bay to win in regulation. I want that moneyline protection in case this game goes to overtime because we know the Blues are seemingly incapable of winning a game that goes to OT (0-8 this season).
If you prefer to take the Lightning to win and pair it up with something else in a parlay to get it down to around -110, I totally understand that. But I’m comfortable taking Tampa Bay to win up to -200 because I am fully expecting a Blues loss this evening.
